These are the Terms and Conditions which apply when buying online from www.petmarket.com.cy (the “Website”). This Website is operated by Φυραματοποιείον Χρυσάφης Λτδ, Nikitari, Nicosia, Cyprus, registration no. HE34961, VAT No. 10034961M (“us”, “we”).
Please read this agreement carefully. They should be read in conjunction with the ‘Use of Website’ Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these, then you may not use this Website.
You are permitted to use our Website solely on the basis of these Terms and Conditions. We reserve the right, at our discretion, to update and/or revise these Terms and Conditions. Please check periodically for changes.

Terms and Conditions
- Registration and contract
- ‘Gold Pet Market’ is the registered business name of Φυραματοποιείον Χρυσάφης Λτδ. You are the customer. You agree to purchase services and goods from Gold Pet Market subject to these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy, which will apply to all transactions using our on-line purchasing service (the “Service”). Please read through these terms and conditions carefully before using this Website. By using our website, you acknowledge that you have read and understood our Privacy Policy.
- Gold Pet Market reserves the right to alter or withdraw the Service at any time, to refuse the Service to any customer and to amend these Terms and Conditions. If we make any changes to these terms, we will let you know as soon as possible by posting the changes on our Website and updating the date below. Any such changes will take effect when posted on the Website and it is your responsibility to read the terms and conditions on each occasion you use this Website. Your continued use of the Website shall signify your acceptance to be bound by the latest terms and conditions.
- You must be 18 years or over and must complete the registration procedure to use our Service.
- By registering for this Service, you agree that the details provided by you on registration, or at any time, are correct and complete. You must inform us immediately of any changes to the information that you provided when registering by updating your personal details. You must give us your real name, address, phone number, email address and any other details that we may require to process your order (your “Contact Details”). We may, where appropriate, and only in accordance with our delivery service, share your Contact Details with trusted third-party partners.
- Your email address is essential in order for us to be able to supply you with important information such as order confirmations, and changes to the Service. By registering with our Service, you accept that your email address may be used to supply you with such information. Registration data and certain other information about you is used in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
- It is your responsibility to keep your password secure. We reserve the right to modify or withdraw a password at our discretion. Your password is exclusive to you. It should not be shared and must be treated as confidential. If you become aware of misuse, then you must contact Us immediately.
- We reserve the right to:
- Decline a new customer registration or suspend or terminate a customer’s account at any time and at our sole discretion.
- At our absolute discretion to terminate your access to all or part of this Service with or without notice.
- Goods are stored in appropriate conditions and temperature prior to delivery. Risk of loss and damage of products passes to you on the date the goods are delivered to your address or are left with a person or place nominated by you. Gold Pet Market will not be responsible for any loss or damage caused to the goods after delivery.
- Pricing and payment
- Where applicable, prices include Value Added Tax. The prices on the Website reflect the current rate of VAT and not necessarily the rate you will be charged on the day of your delivery.
- You will not be charged until your order is accepted. Your order will be accepted once we have verified your payment details and checked stock availability. A confirmation email will be sent to you once the order has been accepted.
- Prices are exclusive of delivery charges which are quoted on check out.
- You can only pay for you order using a debit card or credit card. We accept the following cards: Visa, Visa Electron, Mastercard, Maestro, American Express.
- We also accept payment by vouchers validly issued by Gold Pet Market by inputting the unique voucher number. The value of the voucher will be deducted from the final payment amount. It is expressly agreed that the value of the vouchers used cannot be greater than the value of the order.
- Cash or cheque are not accepted.
- Payment for the order and all applicable delivery charges is in advance.
- In the event that the payment card has expired we will be unable to take payment and fulfil your order and will bear no liability for such failure. For this reason, please ensure that the expiry date of your payment card is after the date of the order.
- Supply of goods ordered and alternate goods
- In the event that some of the ordered products are not available on the day of execution of the online order, we will inform you by telephone, and you must decide either to replace them with other corresponding products or the partial execution of the order or the withdrawal of the order. In the case of partial execution or withdrawal of the order, you will be refunded accordingly. We do not accept liability towards you by non-acceptance and non-execution in whole or in part of an order. You accept and acknowledge the execution of the order as it is finally formed based on availability.
- Although we take all reasonable care to ensure that ingredients and additional nutritional information appearing on the Website are correct at the time when the information was inputted onto the system, the information appearing on this Website at any time may not reflect the exact position at the moment you place an order. Customers are advised to check product packaging for nutritional information and allergen warnings before consumption, as product information is subject to change after publication of the ingredients.
- You should always read the product label to ensure you are following the most up-to-date information. This is especially important if your pet has an allergy or intolerance. Allergen information can be found highlighted in the ingredients list on the back of each pack.
- Delivery and Collection
- There is no minimum order value on any order to be delivered. No delivery charges shall be charged on orders of a value of €40 (fourty euro) and over.
- There is no minimum order value on any order to be collected from one of our stores. We reserve the right to cancel your order, return your order to store and refund your payment if you do not collect it within a reasonable time.
- Delivery and collection times are subject to availability.
- Gold Pet Market reserves the right to amend delivery or collection charges and delivery and collection services at any time.
- If you are not at the delivery address at the time of your scheduled delivery, or within a reasonable time, we reserve the right to return your order to our store and to charge a delivery charge for re-delivery.
- If you have not contacted us on +357 99231515 within 24 hours to rearrange a failed delivery, the order will be cancelled and refunded and we may retain the delivery fee.
- The deliveries of the orders are made only within the natural and administrative borders of the Republic of Cyprus via a cooperating courier company.
- Upon shipment of the order to you, the risk of loss or damage to the products is transferred to you, once you or a third party designated by you, other than the courier, is in physical possession of the products. However, the risk is transferred to you earlier and, in particular, at the same time as the delivery to the courier, if the carrier transfers the products at the customer’s request and this option was not offered by Gold Pet Market (without prejudice, of course, in this case, of your rights vis-à-vis the courier).
- Amending an order
- You may change the delivery time of your order by telephone. Such changes are subject to available delivery slots.
- If you wish to make any other changes to your order, you may contact us by telephone or email and changes will be made where feasible.
- Right Of Withdrawal and Product Returns
- With the exception of the products listed in clause 6.4 below, if you are a consumer you have the right to withdraw from the contract without giving a reason and receive compensation.
- To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must, within 14 days from the date on which you acquired physical possession of the products, clearly inform us of this decision by email to [E-MAIL ADDRESS] and provide us with the following information:

- The right of withdrawal does not apply to the following categories of products:
- products that are perishable or expire soon.
- sealed goods which are not suitable for return, for health protection or hygiene reasons, and which have been unsealed after delivery.
- products manufactured according to the specifications set by you as a consumer or products clearly personalised.
- If you end the contract for any reason after the order has been dispatched to you or you have received it, you must return it to us. If you are a consumer exercising your right to withdraw from the contract as described in clause 6.1 above, you must return the goods within 14 days of telling us you wish to withdraw.
- We will pay the costs of return if the goods are faulty, misdescribed or not the ones ordered according to the order confirmation. In all other circumstances you must pay the costs of return.
- If you are responsible for the costs of return and we are collecting the goods from you, we may charge you the direct cost to us of collection.
- If you are entitled to a refund, we will refund you the price you paid for the goods, including delivery costs, if applicable, by the same method you used for payment. To be eligible for a refund, the goods must be in their original packaging, unused and in the same condition they were delivered in.
- Our returns policy is in addition to your rights under the Consumer Protection Law (Law 112(I)/2021). The Law permits you to notify us if you wish to return goods within 14 days following the date of delivery and to return them within a further 14 days. Your statutory rights are not affected.
- Liability and Indemnity
- Nothing in these terms and conditions excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability which may not otherwise be limited or excluded under applicable law.
- Subject to clause 7.1 above, Gold Pet Market will use reasonable endeavours to verify the accuracy of any information on the Website but makes no representation or warranty of any kind express or implied statutory or otherwise regarding the contents or availability of the Website or that it will be timely or error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that the Website or the server that makes it available are free of viruses or bugs or represents the full functionality, accuracy, reliability of the Website. Gold Pet Market will not be responsible or liable to you for any loss of content or material uploaded or transmitted through the website and accepts no liability of any kind for any loss or damage from action taken or taken in reliance on material or information contained on the Website.
- Subject to clause 7.1 above, Gold Pet Market will not be liable, in contract, tort (including, without limitation, negligence), pre-contract or other representations (other than fraudulent on negligent misrepresentations) or otherwise out of or in connection with the terms and conditions for any:
- economic losses (including without limitation loss of revenues, data, profits, contracts, business or anticipated savings); or
- loss of goodwill or reputation; or
- loss of privacy and loss of data; or
- special or indirect losses
suffered or incurred by that party arising out of or in connection with the provisions of any matter under these terms and conditions.
- Notwithstanding the above, subject to clause 7.1, Gold Pet Market’s total liability (whether in contract, tort or otherwise) for loss or damage shall in any event be limited to a sum equal to the amount paid or payable by you for the product(s) in respect of one incident or series of incidents attributable to the same clause.
- This Clause 7 does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer, nor does it affect your contract cancellation rights.
- We will take all reasonable precautions to keep the details of your order and payment secure, but, unless we are negligent, we cannot be held liable for any losses caused as a result of unauthorised access to information provided by you.
- Miscellaneous
- We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours and images of our products that appear at the online store. We cannot guarantee that your computer monitor’s display of any colour will be accurate. The images displayed on this website might not look the same as the actual product.
- We reserve the right, but are not obligated, to limit the sales of our products to any person, geographic region or jurisdiction. We may exercise this right on a case-by-case basis. We reserve the right to limit the quantities of any products that we offer. All descriptions of products or product pricing are subject to change at any time without notice, at our sole discretion. We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time.
- Should adverse weather conditions or any other event outside of our reasonable control result in a later or cancelled delivery or collection, we will contact you as soon as possible to re-schedule. All alternative delivery or collection dates are subject to availability. We make every effort to deliver goods within the estimated timescales however delays are occasionally inevitable due to unforeseen factors. Gold Pet Market shall be under no liability for any delay or failure to deliver within the estimated timescales.
- We may assign or transfer our rights and obligations under these terms to another entity.
- You may only assign or transfer your rights or your obligations under these terms to another person if we agree in writing.
- If we do not enforce our rights against you, or if we delay in doing so, that will not mean that we have waived our rights against you or that you do not have to comply with those obligations. If we do waive any rights, we will only do so in writing, and that will not mean that we will automatically waive any right related to any later default by you.

- If you are a consumer and are not happy with how we have handled any complaint, you may want to contact the alternative dispute resolution provider. Alternative dispute resolution is a process where an independent body considers the facts of a dispute and seeks to resolve it, without you having to go to court. You can submit a complaint to Cyprus Consumer Center for Alternative Dispute Resolution via their website at https://adrcyprus.com/en/. If you are not satisfied with the outcome, you can still bring legal proceedings.
- Each paragraph of these terms operates separately. If any court or relevant authority decides that any of them is unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining paragraphs will remain in full force and effect.
- These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus and each party irrevocably agrees to submit all disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of Cyprus.
